Do you have an extra room or suite in your home? Are you willing to rent it to Olympic visitors and share a portion of your rent with a registered charity working to help Vancouver’s most vulnerable people? Then, we’d love to hear from you!
Home For The Games is connecting Olympic Game visitors with Metro Vancouver hosts who are willing to rent a room or suite in their home for reasonable rates and donate at least 50% of the rental fee directly to our charity beneficiaries, Covenant House Vancouver and Streetohome Foundation.
Hosts who list their home stays through Home For The Games will benefit from:
Market
Our web-based matching system will advertise your home stay offering to a large market of international visitors. With our media sponsor and institutional partners, our service will have far reach.
Income
You will earn a modest income for opening your home. Your visitor will pay half the rental fee directly to you upon arrival.
Receipt
You will receive a tax receipt for the rental fee that is donated directly to our charity beneficiary.
New Friends
You’ll never forget the experience of sharing the Olympic Games with your new friends from around the world.
